Daniela Marie Faith B. Mercado was born to Gerard and Mimi at 10:30 AM on July 2, 1998 in Pasig City. Gerard and Mimi both worked in an Advertising company. The family moved to Cainta, Rizal when Daniela was 4 so that she could study to a new school and so that her family could survive and escape from the floods that kept on happening during rainy days in Pasig and so that she could study in a school named St. Paul College, Pasig.
In June 2002, Daniela attended in St. Paul Pasig's nursery section, during which time she became interested in Writing. Daniela was rewarded for her interest in performance and Writing at the age of 4 (attending at the time), when she won the Creative Writing award for writing an article about the Global Warming which was published in her school newspaper.
In June 2005 at the age of 7, Daniela moved to the grade school department of her school in where she will discover more about her intelligence and know the real history about her. That year, Daniela was given the opportunity to join in the MTAP challenge in where only the best math students are joined. She spent her schooling there for more than 3 years. She was also awarded as the smartest girl in their school (despite of beating the High Schooler's intelligence and of knowing the Solar System, the Colors that are very hard (such as vermilion, tumbleweed, etc.), and the knowledge to operate the Pascal's triangle and intermediate algebra at the age of 3). Then, she was given trophies for best swimmer, best grades, fastest runner, best penmanship, best behavior, best attire, cleanest cubbyhole and simplest school supplies. and the best projects. and the rest is obviously history.
As you all know, Daniela was born in the Philippines, the land of creativity, originality and great creations and hard work. Untill now, daniela loves original things and still is a creative child. Her star sign is Cancer - which is also known for being smart, clever and brave. Also defined as courageous, has special abilities like no one else, very perfect in everything they do and always finds out and learns something new. Untill now, in which she lives through these characteristics. So, most of her family always knew and described Daniela as a true Cancerian.
